From New Hire Orientation through Six Sigma, the overall aim of Signature Retail Services / Consumer 500 is to maintain a consistent commitment toward developing new and relevant training programs. This training is aimed at furthering the talents of our people through the ongoing process that is known as “Learning”. New Hire Orientation is the first step in this process. During this phase the District Manager will give our new service associates thorough and comprehensive training. Training will cover company policies, PACE operation and orientation, The Home Depot organization. The basic in-store training will cover such subjects as set integrity, basic maintenance, and PACE compliance. Several knowledge assessment tests—the New Hire In-Store Service Test, New Hire Orientation Test, three Glossary of Terms test, and Three PACE tests—will be administered at this level.
Career Path 2010 was implemented so employees could succeed within our company and build intellectual capital for their own benefit, as well as the benefit of the company. Its purpose is to identify key candidates for Middle Management.
